What we process, why, for how long — and what we deliberately do not do.

The short version
The public pages of this site set no cookie, load nothing from third-party servers and do not measure your behaviour. That is why there is no consent banner: there would be nothing to consent to.

What is processed
Charging infrastructure data from the national access points. It describes equipment, not people. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a sound analysis of publicly available infrastructure data (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server logs
Requests produce technical logs. IP addresses are truncated before storage, so they can no longer be linked to a person.
Community reports
Reporting that a charge point did not work needs no account and no name. We store the charge point, the time and the type of fault. To prevent abuse, a truncated network prefix is kept for a limited time — not the full address.
Customer portal
Signing in sets a session cookie. It is technically necessary, encrypted and ends with the session. In the portal we process the name and email address of the signed-in person and a log of their actions — the latter so that an account stays accountable.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under Art. 15 to 22 GDPR. Write to the address below; we answer within one month. You may also complain to the data protection authority.
What we cannot do
An account's audit log cannot be altered or deleted afterwards — it is protected against tampering and would otherwise be worthless. That is why it holds no names and no addresses, only identifiers and actions.
